Navajo Bridge

Marble Canyon is located in Arizona and marks the beginning of the Grand Canyon. The original Navajo bridge was built in 1929. Then it was the highest steel bridge in the USA, extending 470 feet above the Colorado River.

The construction on the second bridge began in May of 1993 and was finished after two years, in 1995. Today the original Navajo Bridge is used only for pedestrians.

The Navajo Bridge offers stunning views of the Marble Canyon, but theyĆ¢€™re not for those which are fear of heights!
