The Westin- Hotel New York-

The Westin Hotel at Times Square is located in the heart of the Broadway theater district. The building design consists of a 45-story prism split by a curving beam of light that soars above the Newyork City skyline. The glass tower is an impressive architectural landmark in what many consider to be the heart of the city. Like a beacon of serenity in a sea of Times Square chaos, the Westin is a surprise from the moment you walk in the door.

The design team devised innovative ways to use standard components to create the custom lighting effects. Hidden within the building’s curtain wall, weatherproof channels run power to low-voltage, 50-Watt, 24 degree beam halogen lights located every nine inches along one side of the beam’s arch.

Guest rooms are luxurious and chic, reflecting Manhattan’s upscale style. Each room is equipped with bathrobes, cable TV, coffeemakers, high-speed Internet access, Westin Heavenly Beds and Baths, minibars, safes, and two dual-line telephones.
